National Cheer Stars!

I just got back from Asheville N.C. with National Cheer Stars at the National Cheer Compitition, Battle for the Biltmore.

 

Ed Callais and his staff invited me to collect for Tunes 4 the Troops.

WOW! We collected over 2,500 CD's and DVD's for the Troops! The event was January 20th, 2007.  N.C.S. made the collection drive a contest between all the cheer teams attending. And let me tell you the teams really came through.

Carolina Galaxy won the contest drive with their cheerleaders and dance squads bringing 1026 cd's and dvd's!!! Way to Galaxy!!!   Elite All Stars came in second.

Both these teams are joining the Tunes 4 the Troops family and collecting for our Troops under the Tunes 4 the Troops name. We welcome you!

The next National Cheer Stars Competition will be March 10th in Augusta, GA. Tunes 4 the Troops will be there collecting for our Troops, lets see if we can collect 5000 cd's and dvd's for these brave men and women!! 

 

Also a big thank you to  Robyn Bacon the Marketing Director at the Asheville Mall. She is doing a wonderful job of having a collection drive at the mall till Valentines Day. So far they have over 200 cd's and dvd's collected. Thank you Robin!!!
